An open-air pool loses heat to the sky every night and takes in every leaf, every insect and every drop of rain that lands on it. Put a roof over it and most of that stops.
Multi-wall polycarbonate insulates the roof and pulls in solar gain even on a grey day, so the heater works less.
The UV layer stops 98% of the sunlight that breaks down chlorination products, and the water is not open to the weather.
Nothing blows in. Skimming the pool stops being a daily job and the filter has far less to do.
The building itself wants an occasional wash down with a hose. The stainless steel bearings and fixings need nothing.
The same system covers a swimming pool hall, a badminton court, a gym, a classroom or a set of dining tables. Because every side panel goes up into the roof, a covered terrace opens straight onto the lawn the moment the sun comes out, and closes again when it does not. Operators use that to run a longer season and take more bookings out of the same square metres.
Commercial enclosuresOne company does the drawing, the manufacturing and the erecting, and quotes the lot as a single fixed price. Nobody arrives on site to tell you the ground has moved the goalposts.
We measure the pool and the ground it sits on, draw the building around it and price the whole job. If it needs planning consent we produce the drawings and calculations and put the application in for you.
Frames in 6063-T6 high strength aluminium to BS 1474, powder coated in one of four colours or any RAL shade you ask for. Bearings and fixings in 316 stainless, which needs no maintenance at all.
The enclosure is test assembled at the factory so every joint is known to fit, then taken down and delivered to you free of charge.
Our engineers erect it on simple level perimeter foundations. There is no site disruption to speak of, and a tight access site is not a reason to say no.
The building carries a ten year factory guarantee. Solid polycarbonate cladding on the low enclosures carries ten years from its manufacturer.
