Samson Web Design started in 2006, building and looking after websites for businesses around Worthing and along the Sussex coast. The work grew by word of mouth rather than advertising, which is still largely how it grows, and in October 2011 the business was incorporated as Samson Web Design Limited. Same person, same clients, same phone number: a change of legal structure rather than a change of business.
That is why you will see two dates. 2006 is when we started trading and where the twenty years comes from. 2011 is the date on the Companies House record. Some of the clients we took on in those first few years are still with us now, which is the part we are most pleased about.
What we do has widened a long way since then. It began with websites and WordPress. Today Samson Web Design also builds online stores, bespoke web applications, business control dashboards and AI powered software, hosts and protects sites on UK servers, rescues hacked and broken ones, and runs marketing for the businesses we build for. We work with companies across the whole UK, and we are still based in Worthing.
